From the A1 Southbound just before Washington Services merge left to join the A1231 (signposted Washington, Sunderland). At the roundabout take the second exit passing the Mill House pub. At the next roundabout, take the first exit and join the A194(M).

Continue until the first roundabout then take the first exit onto the A184. Continue straight until Heworth Metro Station.

At the roundabout take the first left on to B1426 Sunderland Road and at the first mini roundabout take the 2nd exit. At the second mini roundabout go straight on.

After 0.2 of a mile turn right at traffic lights on to Stoneygate Lane and then take first left.
